Default 2003 GT problems

My cruiser started running weak so i started exploring. I noticed that when the accelerator was pressed the hose to the throttle body was collapsing. The next day the hose from the air box to the turbo melted at the turbo inlet. I had one person tell me that it was a wastegate problem and another person tell me it was the catalytic converter. I bought another hose to replace the one that melted and it also melted after a 10 mile trip. If anyone has any idea of what the problem is I would appreciate it. Thanks

I moved your post over to the Turbo section of the forums. Your more likely to get an answer to your problem over here.

It also would be nice to introduce yourself instead of starting out as if this forum was here just to answer questions.

How many miles, any codes, I would say clogged cat could be the problem? any smoke from the exhaust?

How is the gas mileage? Maybe your running rich, poisened the cat and it is clogged?

It could be either one. If it is the cat you should be getting a COT code. Take it to a mechanic NOW! you can do a lot of damage very quickly with these symtoms and we can only guess from this end.
