Default Thinking out a bigger turbo 03 GT

I'm sure this has been asked before, anyone have any info on what turbo to move up too???

What else must be changed if a bigger one is installed? I'm assuming the downpipe but what else? Also, if anyone has one for sale please fill me in... Thanks!

Or should I mess with it?

Well one, keep in mind that while doing this...if you want big numbers or a fast car I hope you'll have a separate account with $$$ ready to rebuild a transmission. The G288 Getrag is nearly bullet-proof but you'll start seeing problems at 330+hp. As for the 41te, well....look for a tranny swap and just don't boost in 4th, EVER.

As far as 'what turbo to step up to', there are several reputable manufacturer's that have full turbo upgrades for our car (though they're marketed torwards the SRT-4 group). Take the time to read and learn about them and how each one is geared more torwards one application such as top-end whereas another is setup for drag.

Generally speaking, in order to upgrade to a bigger turbo you'll need;
Wideband (a true one for monitoring Air/Fuel ratios)
Boost/vac gauge
Bigger injectors
Depending on the size turbo, rewire your fuel, and possibly a Wahlbro 255 pump
Bigger intercooler depending on turbo (talk to Tagger@ptcrew, otherwise gluck with custom fabbing)
3" o2 housing (some big turbo's come with a unique 'big turbo' housing)
3" downpipe, preferably 3" the whole way through
Tuner. Either a hand-held which is recommended (Diablosport) or a local tuner that'll set your car up on the dyno and tune it.
Upgraded hard pipes, and a true BOV (not the cheap Mopar blue plate, that does nothing for you)
Suspension upgrades to lay that power to the ground.

Last thing, you can only choose 2 of these 3;
