Well IMO if its even a little better than Stage I, with proper tuning and the proper flow mods, efficient boost, I dont see why the GTs wont be running low 13s

Why would we need to tune a Stage(*) MOD package? It has already been done for us, right? All we have to do is to bolt it on, right? The only thing that I see to tune is the exhaust system. For the Stage3 I will probably add a high flow CAT (3") and corrosponding 3" CAT back exhaust system. For ME I really don't see a need to tune, because, the tuning has been done for us by the PVO team, taking into consideration performance, durabilty and reliability. We may improve on something but it will cost us either durability or reliability. Anyway, I expect to get low 14's high 13's with street tires and street exhaust without any tuning with the Stage3 package. Am I expecting in all the wrong places? macster

It seems as if we go to Stage2, upside the exhaust to a 2.5 or 3" CAT back system, and lose the back seats, we can run with these boys if they are stock. I'm going to see how much one of those PTeaser front end/hood combo weighs. I am going to start triming weight in every place thats practical, like that spare tire. macster

A modded GT with ALL the basic boltons should be able to pull on a SRT-4, if it's stock. But finding a stock SRT-4 is like trying to find a honda civic without an exhaust, IT"S PRETTY DAMN HARD!!! But as always what it really comes down to is the driver...maybe if we got an LSD we would be able to hang out of the hole, but with our weight disadvantage we'll probably be playing catch up.

Is that like still being able to find a virgin for a wife? Never the less they are still out there also. I agree with your comments about the driver and the weight. Generally speaking the driver can only make up so much, before the dreaded HP equalizer kicks in. I'm looking to lose weight by doing the following: Taking out the back seats, Going to a composite hood/front end, Dumping the spare, Losing 20lbs (which gets me to 180lb. I'm also going to take a real hard look at that 3" High flow CAT back system. If Stage3 will get me anywhere near the 13's, the reduction in weight and the ehaust system will do the rest. For instance the Hemi Truck does 13.8's in the 1/4, the SVT Mustang is there also, so if we can get near there there is a lot of oppurtunity for us to suprise folks, (read $$$$$). I think that the PVO team will get us low 14's and high 13's with the Stage3, and we will still be streetable. If we want to break into the real low 13's or high 12's then we may have to add a 75-100 shot of NOX. ![]() macster

That's to be expected. But if you had a Stage1, it would change a bit, add a Stage2 it changes a bit more, add a Stage3 and now it's "aww sh*t wacha got in that thing", add 3" highflow cat, exhaust, uppipe, drop a little weight and stir in a 75 shot of Nox and you'll have my car...... ![]() [8D] macster
