Default Rear brakes 05 GT vert help

Need some help please.... I have an 05 GT vert ATX

The rear brakes are disc and got the calipers off fine, but how does the rotor come off? Feels like a spring is holding it on? And one feels like it's locked and won't turn?

E brake stuck on?

Wife called and said the car feels like the brakes are stuck, when I got it up on jack stands and got the caliper off... One of the pads was broken off from it's bracket .....

Just need some help on how to remove the rotor.... The front rotors just slide on and off.....

Please help a brotha out....

Thanks!

I have an 05 GT vert as well. Did the brakes a while back, they just slid right off, both front and rear. Sounds to me like your ebrake is hanging it up. There's a post somewhere out here on backing off the ebrake under the center console that may help you out. Good luck with it!

Yep! The ebrake was hold the rotor on, pads had worn a groove inside the rotor and when I released the tension on the pads they came off!

Thanks!

Somebody's been either driving with the ebrake on slightly, or doing a lot of ebrake drifting. That brake really should last a lifetime. I've done some ebrake stupidity in my time, and my ebrake still looks brand new.
