Default oil feed line help!!

My turbo went bad it broke the exhaust impeller off. So my question is before I replace the turbo I`m trying to find out how much oil the feed line should flow to the turbo. I removed the feed from the old turbo and started the car and oil drips out of the line very slowly, not alot of oil flow. Is this normal ? I figured it should flow out at least at a steady flow. So next part of my question is does anyone have an easy way/walkthrough to replace this line if I have to? It doesn`t look like alot of fun job from what I can see. I can get my hand on it underneith the car but a wrench??

Just change it, it's only $30...that way you are 100% sure you have a good oil flow and you don't mess up a new turbo.

Part of the reason it may have broken off is that you may have a coked up oil line. Are you letting your turbo spool down sufficiently before shutting off the engine? If you don't take care of that turbo, you'll just be doing this again later on.

Since your wheel broke off you should make sure there was no damage done to your exhaust manifold.

Take a look at page 7 - 11 of PT Cruiser Turbo User's guide here:

http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...albums229.html

It will explain what to look for.

In regard to your oil supply line, if it's your original one then it's not even worth testing. Just replace it for $30. so you don't have a repeat failure.

Call us if you have any questions,
