Default Busy busy weekend

...pics from my cardomain site...once i get more time Ill do my imagestation one with more pics (should be later tonight or tomorrow)

Mods done Sunday:
1. Goldline Slam Series rear spring switch (dropped 1.5 inches lower than BTG...kept BTG fronts). Lost rake and minimal ride quality with 3 inchers. Also lost gap, though.

2. Tokico Shocks and Struts. MUCH imporved ride. Much firmer. Corners beautifully and dodges boxes in the middle of the road nicely as well [B)]

3. Mopar BOV. Nice whooooooosh. That 3rd bolt is a biiiiiii.... Still have battle scars from having to come up from underneith the car to tighten it.

Saki lets see the pics of the drop. Also how crappy is the ride? Are you pretty much on the bump stops?

I think she only got them 'cos they were blue.

I would like to see new pics, too. I am trying to decide how I am going to do mine, how far to go, etc.

Before: BTG complete set

After: BTG fronts (1.75) and Goldline rears (3.0)
Ride quality is negatively affected...but is VERY minimal. Noticeable mostly (if not only) when going over spped bumps. It drops like my boyfriend's truck. If I go over them slow enough (which Im learning to do) there is no heavy drop...

Anywho...heres the link. Not in order, but oh well...its labeled

hehe, hey, I hear ya!

Thanks for posting the pics, Saki; they demystify it all for me (I'm a guy--we're "visual", heh) and I can jump into it with some foreknowledge, and less frustration. I ordered the BOV kit right after I saw your pic. Again, thanks. (There ya have it, if you ever wondered if anyone got anything from your sharing of your efforts.)

It looks like the stocks were Tokico too, yes?

What tire size did you use, 225/40 18's? (to compare diameter to my stock 17's)

Well I was given these 225/40 very cheaply with my rim package, yes. Were going to try and squeeze 235/40s when I go to the BFGs (by next racing season). Can waste all that lovely horsepower Im buying in that god-awful tire spin [:0]

Youre welcome for the pics [:X]

haha! Yeah, that's a drag...
(nyuk nyuk)

What's your plan to remedy that? I would like to see my TRAC light blinking less frequently during my normal driving...probaby a larger source of my brake dust than using the actual brakes, heh. [8)]
