Welcome to the forum and enjoy your new ride! [^] You'll love that new "turbo car" [8)] and many will suggest things you can do to make it go just "a bit faster"! For starters, I recommend a straight-through exhaust and a K&N (drop-in) performance air-filter. [?]

Congrats on your new baby. There is the BTG flow through exhaust from PT Tuning. There are the Stage 1 and Stage 2 (early next year) upgrades though there may or may not be warranty issues. If you are staying stock or going to only Stage 1 then the BTG exhaust will be fine. If you are going to Stage 2 then you will need a 2 1/2" catback exhaust and the BTG exhaust is only 2 1/4". As for cold air intakes you are still sucking in engine heat. I have a 2" hose running from the opening next to the driver's side fog light up to the fenderwell and this provides a lot of cold air, a lot more than stock. The experts say to save your money because the stock air box and a K&N drop in air filter do as good of a job. I'm running a stock air box right now, though it is modified and has a K&N drop in filter. I have run with an intake made by a friend in Florida that looked really cool and worked great. Of course if you go faster then you want to improve handling by lowering it, adding aftermarket sway bars, Koni shocks and a strut bar. Just read what others have done on this great forum and I guarantee your wallet will be thin, but on your face will be a big grin. Mod fever is upon you. [?]

Welcome Cesar! I was going to ask which turbo, then I see you said an '03, so that's the one that runs on high-test gas. You've already gotten good advice in this thread - be sure and read the Turbo-specific threads on this forum - you'll learn a lot.

If you are going to put all that money into an exhaust system, get one that is at least 2.5". No matter what you say now.."I am not really going to do anything to the car, etc", if you have the bug enough to want to start off doing small things, the addiction will only grow over time. You will want more. You will not be able to stop. It is a sickness. BTG is good stuff, they just need a "turbo specific" exhaust. They just took their NA 2.25" exhaust system and slapped a "Turbo approved" sticker on it.
Actually, I would spend a few weeks here reading up on parts and mods before I spent any money. You need time to identify what you really want to do. This is the logical me speaking. The irrational, impulsive me says "Get out there and buy stuff!"

I emailed BTG and asked if they were going to make a 2.5"/3.0" and was told they had no plans to produce a larger exhaust but they plan on working with the turbocharger itself in the near future? What that means I do not know? I would think if they are going to do any turbo upgrades it would include a larger exhaust, down pipe and CAT. This is what I am waiting for, a bolt on 2.5" turbo back single outlet exhaust. I do feel the BTG would work well with an off road stage I kit.[
