Ok I know that we all have talked about gas milage sucking big time. However I think mine is worse then before allow me to explain.

1. I replaced factory plugs and wires with iriduim plugs and better wires.

2. Took out the airbox and did a nice intake

Issues Ive seen happening. After the change I am getting the misfire on cyl 3 warning on a occasion. Also I have a remote start and when i try to start it it cranks then wont start, on the 2nd try it will. Also when I try to start with key it sometimes wont start but on the 2nd try it will. Im kinda at a loss here. I have the High Output 2.4 in a 2005 vert. Should i go back to regular plugs? Or what other recomendations do you have.

Check gap on cyl#3, check for oil in cyl#3, and if those are fine, switch #3's wire and plug with another cyl.

They were gapped to 40, I have heard on the High Output Turbos the old school copper plugs are better . Is this true

Do you still have the aluminum intake? Did you change the intake gaskets when you did the plugs?

Irridiums are fine - I have them and have them in my daughter's GT - it's platinums that should be avoided in turbos because of the way the platinum tips are bonded on.
If it were an intake gasket, you'd have a lousy idle, and why would it appear when you did plugs?
try swapping first wires, then plugs and see if it changes.

General advice on boosted vehicles is to use only copper plugs. Platinum and Iridum plugs burn hotter than copper and can cause knock at high RPMs b/c the electrode is remaining hot enough to ignite the air fuel mixture without a spark.

Obviously your computer has identified cylinder 3 as the problem. I would start by checking the plug and plug wire. You might have a bad plug or the wire could have frayed while you were changing plugs.
