Hello all, I have been looking at these forums for the past few weeks and came to the conclusion this looks like the best. Anyway I recently got my Gt Cruiser. I love it
My past car was a 2003 stratus r/t the pt turbo blows it away in almost every aspect expecially speed [8)] I already have 1700 miles on my cruiser, and sadly already have the problem of the squecky steering. From looking around on the forums, it seems to be quite common. I'm concerned if it's still safe to drive with this problem??Eric, 2004 Gt Electric Blue 5 Speed Stock |

Welcome Woodward to the forum. I haven't had the squeaky steering problem but I'm sure it's safe to drive to your dealer and have them correct the problem, I would do that as soon as possible.

I have already scheduled a appointment, the problem is its not until 1/17.. [:I] So I am wondering if Its still safe to drive for approx another 500 miles. Everything seems to be working the same as when I got it except a rubber against metal sound while turning. Any help or recondmendations would be greatly appreciated[?]

Mine did it and all the dealer has to do is replace something behind the steering wheel, if you have the same problem it's perfectly safe to drive it that way.
