The speed limiter on my stage 1 PCM is between 125 & 130 mph. I think it is around 128 mph. Hard to get a good look at the speedo when going that fast......

Yeah, I've had my car up to 122 so far with no limiter, so I dunno what it's set at.To get a stock PTGT up past 130 though you would need consideral room, and very very very empty roads.....like maybe Montana empty.

A number of months ago a member of this forum who lives in the San Francisco area indicated that he had his 2003 GT up to "just over 125mph" one quite morning while driving north on highway 280 towards the city. [8)]

Plenty of open highways to hit those speeds. I constantly hit the limiters when I lived in the mid-east.

So, is it possible to disable the limiter?

Also, it is possible to disable the idle rev limiter? (it kicks in just before 4000 RPM and I need to be stable at 4000 RPM to properly calibrate the G-tech Competition, and I would rather not try that whilst moving!)
