Hello guys,
i've decided to upgrade my lone factory horn on my 2003 gt after realizing how crappy it is..i bought a pair of hella horns on ebay but i have no clue as to installation. heck,i can't even find the one that's in there right now! will i be able to splice the second one from the original wiring whenever i find it? i went to ptdoityouself.com but all i saw was a change to the oooga type of horn...i'll look here after posting this. any advice would be great thanks |

Someone here works for Hella or has some connection. Hopefully they will see this post and help out.

I work for Hella, dbraveman. We always recommend that you use the relay that comes in the box with the horns, but most people don't, and it works fine.If you like, I have a very simple wiring diagram I can e-mail you (in Microsoft Word format). Just drop me a line at jack.hilton@hellausa.com .

I always pick-up a set of small airhorns at the local Meijer/autozone/whatever for my cars, and wire it off of the the existing horn. It's been a few years (the GT is new, haven't got to it yet), so I don't remember the details, but it's always been pretty simple, just follow the instructions for the most part.. mouting has usually been a bigger pain then wiring for me..

This is true with the air horns. I have a simple wiring diagram for those as well if anyone needs it.
