Default Tried Topic on SRT Forum

I read the page on the SRT Forum concerning
the wategate/bleeder setup. Since the Srt and GT
are setup differently I went about it in a differnt way.
I tried running a bleder between the turbo and wg, but no
matter how I hooked it up it didn't work. Finally ended
up running it off the #2 solenoid. Car is not Stage One
or have a mbc. Doing this mod has definitely woken this car up.
It now feels like a turbo equipped car. Difference is like night and day. Cheapest mod I've done to date.

be careful with this mod, you will get spikes in boost. It is a cheap mod, but just remember that you get what you pay for. So, don't expect any crazy 1/4 mile times... My advice get a lesser expensive MBC like a Hallmann or something like that, you will be much better off IMHO

I too discovered it must take a very large bleed for the set-up to work between the WGA and turbo. It should work, simple physics dictate so.. but it must take significant bleeding to drop 10-15 psi down to the 4psi of the WGA spring I just pieced together a new bleed, using a Tee with a reducer. I don't plan on staying with this, I'm just trying to compile as much data as I can on the various set-ups i come across.
From what I recall, the line set-ups between the PT and srt are the same with the exception of the cruise control related lines.. only the colors are different. look at the line diagram under your hood and compare it to the diagram of srt (or any of the other mopar turbos going back 10-20 years for that matter).
