when we install accessories on vehicles we charge a reduced labor rate of $ 54.00 per hr instead of my normal shop charge of $ 72.00 per hr. i have convinced my service dept. that the stage kits are an accessory, which we should be charging the accessory labor price. so far they have been easy to work with and i hope to have the same labor rate for other mopar performance parts.

i am a tech. i have an 03 gt with s1 it took me about 1 hr to install...... however if it came in the door i would charge 1.5 to cover any type of problem the i may incounter. as far as dropping the labor rate that does not change what we as techs get. if management want's to make less that's fine by me

Thats not bad for CA. Out here everything costs more. I paid $250.00 to have my S1 installed, never again. I brought me that a set of tools from Sears (the ones with the big letters on them) to replace what my son took. I'm doing S2 myself. I had my Triple Pod installed. I ended up redoing that. I rerouted the wiring for all the gages, rerouted the VAC/BOOST line (so that the vac gage would work), I made the entire install look "purty". I'm gonna redo the audio sytem wiring so that it looks "purty." My point, do it yourself and benefit from the learning experience. Those of us that are here who have worked on our cars have found things like the power steering hose leak, etc. macster

We are charging $150 Canadian for the Stage 1 install. It usually takes around 1 - 1.5 hours for the install depending on the stuborn-ness of some hoses and screws.
