My son wants me to do that to my intake! How long did it take and can you give us any pointers? Or did you have it done professionally? I wasalso thinking of maybe getting it powdercoated to match my Valve Cover.

For the intake manifold to look right ( no bumps) you have to grind off all of them, I had a guy power coat one was not happy then i took one to a polishing co. and i like what it now looks like There is a lot of work unless you have the right equip. the cost is labor, one othet plave in cilf charges 325.00 to do the same as i can get done for 225.I checked with a guy in Ft. Lauderdale showing the Edelbrock tractor and trailer and he wanted 400.00 to do it. but said the price may drop if they (Edelbrock ) does a lot of them. so no i did not do it my self
