Default WOT Miss

At 13K miles, I am encountering a WOT miss at higher RPMs. Using 93 octane. No mods yet (WHERE IS STAGE II!!!!!!!!!!).

Secondly, I sem to recall someone saying the single BTG CAT-back was the best dal unless you are looking for the duals look.

Help!

The BTG catback is a great exhaust for Stage 1 but is only a 2.25 and if you want Stage 2 you need a 2.5" catback exhaust. You might have the high rpm miss that there is a TSB for. Look here: http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...=high,rpm,miss

Thanks for the link. My Dreamcruiser was built March 6, 2003 so the TSB applies. Have contacted the local 5-star, so we'll see what happens. Always helps to know the proper answer before the question is asked.
Can't believe how helpful thjis forum is........

Bob, print off the TSB and take it in, they can not refuse you.

The 5-star in Sarasota said, "no problem". PCM is ordered. I just hope I don't have to wait as long for it as we're waiting for Stage II.

:-)

Make sure that they program the pinion ratio into the new PCM or the Speedo/Odometer will not work when you pick it up.
