hey guys. does anyone know about the Yokohama ES100 summer tires? how do they handle? i'm looking to get out of the stock junk good years for the summer and found a nice set of summers on ebay.

The ES100's are very good for the money. I have been very pleased with mine. The only disadvantage is, of course, that they are not rated for winter weather. They are sooooo much better than the Goodyears that come on the PT. Steering input is greatly improved. Much sticker than the standard Goodyears.
I have the GT so I got the 205/50ZR17 ES100's.

I put on the 215/50/17s, fit like a glove and no problems with size even though I have the eibach spring package. must be at least an inch more tread than the Goodyear M&S rags that come with the GT. We are in the rainy season now and they handle great... no problems with hydroplane noticable. This is a Good little tire.[8)]

Is that bid price $177 for all four tires? sounds too cheap, why would anyone sell tires with only 4,000 miles on them? Gary
