Default what is max boost

what is the max boost that our engine and turbo can produce/handle i'm not talking "i got a 21 spike". what will it produce and hold through rpm anyone done any testing. i have a strange reason for wanting to know this. it is kind of like scott's two stage boost controler but set up more like a nos system with a throttle switch what do you guys and gals think? i have heard we are not set upto go over 18 because of the map. just woundering what the system can do with s2.

If you can supply enough fuel, as to not go lean, you could get away well into the 20's maybe even 30 psi, if done right.

Check out gary donovans web site, he has messed with many fwd turbo dodge/ chrysler cars of the 80's His van or Reliant K are some good refrences, since the 2.2 and 2.5 motors very built very stout, and are similar to ours in some ways.

I have this set-up, but until I figure out how to get that throttle swtich mounted I'm just using a toggle (mounted in that empty spot in th emiddle of those 3 switches under the radio).
I built a hybrid electric/manual boost cotroller pre-set at 18psi, but haven't installed it yet (manual pressure sensor, elctric solenoid). It uses a hobbs type pressure switch (preset to 18psi, not adjustable, but the price was right), and a solenoid. At 18psi, the sensor opens the solenoid to WGA. We'll see how it works, but I'm excited to try it out I'm also working on a new adjustable switch (to replace the hobbs type switch) that taps into the pressure sensor for my boost guage Anyways, when I get it in we'll see if it can hold 18 to redline with the stock WGA.

What boost is everyone running that has a mbc? I just installed my g-valve from www.fwdperformance.com and have it set at about 13 psi. The boost almost comes on to fast, can't keep the tires under it. May have to talk to Tommy about getting those filled engine mounts. Maybe they will help.
