Default Giving Up the PT for a while

Well All, I am trading cars with my mom for a while. She is a recent cancer survivor and will now need a wheel chair and left footed gas pedal. Her car isn't gonna work, I can't easyly get the chair in her cars trunk, so I am giving her the pt and I'll take her car. Don't worry all, I will still stick my head very often, and I still have my 88 Daytona Shelby Z and 89 Turbo Caravan ES to boost with! It may be a good thing, keeps me from spending money on lots of mods, and directs it at the daytona, which I need to finish restoring.

Since she is only 57 she still needs her independence and I am not allways around to drive her everywere she wants to go.

Tom

Turbo Tommy, does your mom know what a great son she has? I'm sure she does. Hope all works out well for you and your mom!

Good things happen to good people! From somebody who lost their mom to cancer late last year, you take care of your mom and love her while she's here. Giving up your PT to her for her convenience is a wonderful thing. [^]

TT, bless you and your mom. I lost my wife of 18 years to that demon.
I wish you all the best.

Bles you and your Mom. I always thought that the PT would make a great handicap car with it's upright seating position. Please keep in touch on the site!![?]

Don't worry, I'll stay on here. If someone can give me some advice on posting pics, I'll send some of the conversion they do.

Gotta run, Tom

Do Caravans come stock with a turbo? or did you have to put that in aftermarket? How does it compete with the PT?

Only the 1989 model year had an optional turbo engine. People have modified them and gotten them into the 11s[:X]

Here's a site for someone in the 12s:
