These (both rotor and pads) were EXACT replacement parts. I took a good long look at each to make sure things weren't even a little off. They fit beautifully and they work.
EBC has some interesting things to say about the science of more efficient stopping and controlling dust creation. I won't be an advertisment, but the EBC site is a good place to start. The slotted and drilled rotors are a good enhancement for reducing brake fade. I enjoy the quicker stopping power and feel a little better about the whole setup. I could have gone cheaper with just the pads, but the stock discs were obviously worn at 24K miles, I didn't want to take the chance.[8)] |
