Default 03 PT GT Turbo Lights Dimming
Hello, New to this site and new to the PT world. I have a 2003 PT Cruiser GT Turbo. I just bought the vehcle new about 3 months ago. I love it. The dealer had one on there lot and when I seen it, I had to have it. Oh well if it's an 03, but there's only one problem that I can not seem to find any info on about. Why are the head lights and dash light dimming when I aply the brakes? It's driving me nuts. I've brought it back to the dealer a few times and they said there's nothing they can do about it. I found some TSB reports about something thats close, but it's either the wrong engin or year. I guess it sucks to be me huh? Anyone out there who knows what to do about it, or must I live with it? Thanks everyone...

I've got the same problem...and my amp & sub don't help any...

Yeah! I think I was one of the first to post on it and to tell you the truth I think I have just gotten used to it. It is still there but it just doesn't seem to bother me like it used to? Unless more complain DC won't do anything about it!

Hi EJCUSA1 I am new to this as of today. I have 03 PTGT that had the same problum as you are having. My 5 star dealer is a great dealer ship, the check every thing and replaced the BATTERY that fix the proublem. the car had 35000 miles and now has 58000. every thing is still great good luck

i wire brushed the paint off the chassis ground points (2) used dielectric grease to promote conductivity, bolted it back together, and my flickering lights are gone.
