Thinking about getting the Borla/Mopar dual outlet exhaust. Is it tricky to cut out the groove for the other exhaust tip. Would like to do it myself. Any tips.
I have the BTG Axle back on now and like the deep throaty sound it produces. Does the Borla/Mopar produce the same sound? Dont wont it to sound like stock. Like it a little loud. Well I got the answer to that question. To quite for me. Anyone have a 2.5" exhaust w/ some tune to it? |

I have the Mopar exhaust and I found it easy to do the cut out. It will cut easily with a sharp utility knife. Just do it slow and make shallow cuts increasing the depth each time. I did not use the template provided. I found that it did not match up with the other side.

Quality tin snips work really well. Using left and right cut and meeting in the middle worked well for me. You can do a practice cut of smaller size inside of the real cut line. I used the supplied template and thought it matched well.

Real good idea you have there JohnM. Cut the inners and get a hang of it and proceed to the final outline. [?]
