Default 70mm throttle body

has anyone tryed to retrofit one of these on our cars?
I have seen ported srt4 throttle bodies used on our cars, so this should be doable right?

Your ITM would be the restriction being smaller then the TB.

go here and look up Nitro PT Aluminum Intake Manifold. It may help you better understand what I mentioned?

This seem like putting a bigger drain plug in the sink. But when I pull it I'm still stuck with the same size drain pipe. So the water still takes the same time to get out. Just my thoughts.

I planned on port matching my intake manifold to match since i have a spare manifold im willing to try something different and hopefully it will work so we will have a new option intead of a ported stock throttle body thats still less than 60mm.
when i get home i will measure the throttle boddy port on the intake and make sure there is enough material there to make it even possible.

I think you should go look at the thread I suggested.
It is more then a simple enlargement by means of port matching. You will still have a restriction that will be greater then the TB you are planning to use.

Cleaning up the interior and smoothing out the casting, match porting to the head and more attention to your lower ITM will have a greater benefits and using along with the porting work no more then a 55mmTB .
You also need to remember that at some point you will need to do PCM calibration for the increased WOT flow.

He should have a plastic intake. So that would end that.
