Im sure most of you already know the answer to this, but Im searching for my wife as a gift. Ive tried looking through the threads, but didnt really find my answer. Here is the deal, she wants either the BTG or Borla exhaust. Which is better and where to get it at?
Thanks |

www.pttuning.com for the BTG and you can find the borla through just about any aftermarket re-seller and MoPar on line or dealership. I believe tthrift can get you a good deal on the borla cat backs? Check the home page it has links to most of the vendors out there. Take your time and research all there is available and then make your decision. There are probably more threads on this than anything else, so do a careful search! ![]() [8)] |

Try Truckperformance, I have not seen lower prices for exhausts. Borla part number 14926 is a single 2 1/2" stainless steel, if thats what your looking for. By the way if anyone in the carolinas has this exhaust I would like to hear it, I have been considering it but my wife thinks it might be too loud and it is her car.

thanks. All I know is that it needs to fit the turbo model. She likes the dual single tips, but probably wouldnt mind the single either.

I have the BTG duals on my turbo and they are great. Easy installation and good instructions. And all of the materials are first class. You will love the sound. Good luck.

Here ya go:
http://www.pt-tuning.com/performance...BTG-Duals.html They sound great - deep [|)] I like them better than the Bassani I have. And, the "Y" split gives even exhaust out of both pipes.

My BTG system is the best mod I added to my car. My wife hates how it sounds, so I couldn't be happier.
by the way, I love how it sounds.

Thanks for the responses everyone, I appriciate it. [8D]
I listened to the sound clip of the BTG from that site, but how does it sound INSIDE the car? She isnt going to go for that drone that most systems have. Some is ok, but how much can you hear inside? We have a 4yr old and a 1yr old and if the sound is too much, its not an option.

Besides getting rid of that UGLY can that shows on the stock system you get the sweet mellow tones equally out of both brightly pollished exhaust tips.
I like the fact that my mileage increased (about 5mpg) along with a few HP. I voted for the BTG duals with a purchase over a year ago....I can't imagine the PT without it now.[8)] |
