Is the 4 Speed A/S realy a six speed?

I can feel it kicking forward when it shifts... like an old chevy or ford..

I like feeling that kick.. It makes me feel like there is a lot of power under the hood, but I just want to make sure that this is the way it should work...

My GT does a hard shift between 1st & 2nd gear (sometimes almost jarring) and does that leeeeeetttttt'sssss taaaakkkkkeee a whhhhiilllleee to lock in gear shifts between 2, 3 & 4. I sometimes worry my torque converter may not be 100%.

That is exactly what I get in mine!!!
BTW I have Stage 1, I did Quick learn by the book...
