I tried taking off the PT emblem on the passenger air bag today, wanted to replace it with a GT emblem, even a decal,but guess what. IT IS MOLDED INTO THE COVER. SO NOW IT LOOKS LIKE s*@$%*^*&. Now I have to get an air brush artist to fix it up for me. Gary

lol (not actually funny) but I almost did this in my car, but I tried picking it off with my fingernail and realized it was molded in before I got too far.

Gary, as long as you are going to have it airbrushed you might as well go ahead and sand it smooth.

I wanted to remove mine also, but was told I couldn't.
I thought it was like the outside badges.[:I]

Gary how could you. If you take a look at it you will notice that it is molded, alot like the SRS AIRBAG emblem.
