Default 2005 turbo 2.4L vibrates when at a red light

About a month or so I had vibration when I stop for a light or traffic (with the air on its worse).
Its a 2005 turbo 2.4L 64,000 miles In the last 2 weeks I had a machine clean the engine, a new cover, new sparks and wires and then a timing belt and water pump. Its not better. I have to return in a week to see if its better. Wen they chexked the timeing it went from 5 deg to 2.5 deg ( I think its the deg error they checked) I love the car and want to keep it any ideas?

Are you using hi-octane fuel?

He didn't say he had a GT.
Agree w/Busa - most likely the engine fan.

It could also be the motor mounts. When in drive and with your foot on the brake, the engine can shift more than other times. A weak motor mount might let the engine rub the chassis somewhere and cause vibration. And using the AC may increase RPM at idle, thus increases the vibration.

Check the fan first, since members with turbo PT's have suggested it. But next, I'd check the mounts.

Fan? Wut??? No.

I'll bet money it's the torque struts (sometimes called motor mounts).

Thanks for chiming in, I was scratching my head trying to figure out how the fan could cause that much vibration. When I put in my motor mount inserts, I got more vibrations at idle, but it was fine because in my mind, it was a race car

I am taking it you have never been in a Cruiser with a failed fan. My daughter's 06 fan failed and with the AC on vibrated horribly. The AC builds excessive pressure with no cooling and puts a tremendous load on the engine.

My guess when I first read it was with Busa. The fan has failed. They only seem to make about 80,000 miles and then failure still anytime.

Easy enough to check the fan, then we'll know!

Also easy enough to check the temperature gauge and if there is steam pouring out of the hood.
