Noticed condensation in the OEM tail lights (both) the other day, anyone else see this?

No problems with OEM tail light condensation here in Washington State. I have not heard of this happening with stock tail lights--only with after-market modifications. This would appear to be covered under your DC warranty. Good luck.

Dealer will replace them no problem, I just wanted to post so others can be aware of a potential problem.

I had the same problem in mine. Dealer said that there was a message informing that they will not replace the lights for condensation under waranty...
I talked to the regional manager... Guess who sent the message... I did an 1/8" hole on the top and one on the bottom, it cleared the problem. The day after, I got a call from the dealer saying that they go aproval to change the tail lights... Now it has two holes!!![xx(][xx(][xx(] Ian

How did they first justify that it was not a warranty issue? Just take it in for the replacement and see if they notice the holes? Ian

They, first justified it by saying that "We live in a very humid area, it doesn't impair proper operation"
My guess is that they where replacing them under waranty, when they inspected the part, a few days later, the humidity had cleared. no refund on a good part... I will call them and tell them what I did, if they accept it good, if not, it is working perfectly and anyway, I wanted to mod them... Ian

Dealer replaced both tail lights today, no questions asked, just the way it should be.

PainT,
You might find that the new tail lights do the same thing (condensation) so you'll end up with two new holes in the new ones. [:I] |

The two hole idea works great... Ian

The girl at the Dealer said they "improve" products every 6 months
or so based on warranty claims.(OK then) I will watch to see if these lights have in fact been improved, if not, I will keep getting them replaced until they are. Time will tell.
