Default Composite intake manifold gaskets

So there are two gaskets. One to the block and the other to the upper part of the IM. I have a spare new intake manifold gasket from a SRT-4. Is the paper gasket the same even though the IM is aluminum? (Going to the block)

The upper intake manifold gasket the same as say the base 2.4 PT's? Since they use a similar intake manifold if not the same? Need some light shed on that if they are the same or not.

Looking to replace both. Not looking forward to removing the lower one, doesn't look fun to do. Probably going to replace the injector o-rings while I am at it if they are bad.

What all needs to be removed to get to the lower one for those that have done it?

Thank You.

The lower one at the head may work because the head is exactly the same as the SRT4, although I don't know if anyone has tried it. The gasket between the 2 halves has to be a turbo Cruiser piece. The non-turbo is not aluminum, uses a silicone 'noodle' style gasket, not fiber and the spacing is also different.

Nice, yes I knew the heads were the same I was just concerned about the gasket between the head and intake manifold and if the SRT-4 paper gasket will work on composite. Not sure what is used stock on the composite intake manifold between the head and the manifold.

The turbo one is either composite or aluminum. I used the torque specs on the upper part, which are the same as a base PT cruiser which also has a composite intake manifold.

So no one has taken off their plastic intake manifold from the block?

^New one on left

Got the lower intake manifold gasket set for the plastic intake manifold via RockAuto.com. MS18199 is the part number. Turns out it is the wrong part and for the base 2.4 NA. MS18199 does not fit well so I was hesitant on putting it back in my car. Glad I didn't! It is listed wrong on their site. Called up Magnum and "broberts" checked it out for me and he clarified that it was indeed the wrong part. MS18035 supposedly is the right gasket for the lower plastic intake manifold.. RockAuto was notified and they are refunding me and fixing their site as well as Magnum Silicone. As you can see it does not have the same paper gasket as the Neon SRT-4 like I previously thought.

Car will be chillin until I get the new gasket. Replaced all my injector o-rings and put another S1 injector on cyl 4. Also replacing the upper radiator hose and thermostat.

MS18035 is indeed the correct gasket. Fits perfect!
