The Turbo is strong, fast and reliable.. People that don't understand the love of a PT, probably don't deserve to.

I dont agree with the 5000--7000--8000 miles they say Oh the oil is better today probaly is but for around $30 isnt it worth the peace of mind

Peace of mind is sometimes better then what a stranger recommends to change your oil in your Toy Cruiser!
I change oil and filter if it gets to 3000 miles never over 5000 miles from the last change or I just think I should do it sooner.

I won't mention what I do after track time.....

You cannot hurt anything by changing oil too often, the only damage comes by not changing it often enough....

Took you that long to read your owners manual ?

Oil every 3000, rotate the tires every other oil change

This is why I would never get any benefit of using a full synthetic oil, even though "they" say you can go longer between oil changes, I wouldn't be able to force myself to let my vehicle rack up that many miles between changes! My '06 Touring Edition currently has 105,000 miles on it and at about 75,000 miles I switched from Castrol GTX 5w30 to their High Mileage version which is a partial synthetic, but I still change it every 3,000 miles, and again, that's for my peace of mind.

I change the oil in my '05 twice a year or every six months, whichever happens first.

Actually, every 3,000 miles. Rotate tires every other oil change.
