Open Track Day at Sebring International.
Sebring will be holding an open track day on July 19th. My question is, do you guys think the GT will hold up for 4 - 20 minute all out race sessions? My PT is pretty much a stock 2005 GT with a few modifications: Aeroforce Scangauge, K&N Short Ram (even though they claim it's a CAI), the MOPAR wastegate plate, and a stage 1 on the way. I've also recently put on Cooper RS3-A Zeon high performance (track) tires.
I just want to make sure the car can handle that kind of abuse for those periods of time. Oh, and no it isn't the 5 speed, sadly........
Oh and any of you guys who live near Sebring, registration with in car instructor is around $150. Gas in free at the on site gas station in the pits, and is open to drivers of any skill level or car class. And must have a full faced helmet while on the track.
