Default to change or not to change

I was wondering what your thoughts were about changing the oil. I always use synthetic and changed it on 7/13. Since then I have put only 3500 miles on my 06 GT. We really don't drive it much.

thank you

No roll on. Be a waste of synthetic oil.

I'd change it. Short hops don't drive off condensation like long drives do.
The manual says oil should be changed every 6 months, regardless of mileage.
Once a year is not excessive or expensive.

Cool Re: to change or not to change

Oil can go bad just sitting.
As Don said, short drives are harder on the engine and oil.
