For the life of me, I cannot remember the name of this part. The little triangle above the door panel. I'm thinking about installing tweeters there. It's in the circle in the picture.
Thanks in advance. [B)] ![]() PS: How much do you think a replacement part would be? |

I don't want to install tweeters in the factory dash location because I've been told that the sound bouncing off of the windshield degrades the overall sound quality of your system.
I've had great experiences in my previous cars installing tweeters high in the door panels, angling them towards the listeners and I'd like to do the same thing here. But I want to flush mount the tweeters so they look as stock as possible. And that entails cutting a round hole in the middle of that triangle. I need the name of that triangle so that I can buy a replacement in case the install doesn't work out as expected. |

I believe it is called the side view mirror trim bezel.

According to my 2001 Parts Manual, it's called the "remote control mirror bezel" (L) RH29MF1AB (R) RH28MF1AB
Doesn't say anything about non-remote controlled mirrors [:I]
