I raced an SRT-4 yesterday...

Basically what happened was this: My wife and I were leaving the movies yesterday after doing some shopping and catching a movie. As I'm pulling out of my parking spot I notice a blue SRT-4 rolling through the lot. I see he's leaving, so i follow him out of the lot onto the street. It turns out he's going the same way I am. I manage to catch up to him at a stop light about a 1/4 mile down the road. I look over at his car. He has really dark tint on the windows so I can't see if he's looking at my car or not. I'm pretty sure he realized he was sitting next to a turbo PT. The light turns green and I punch it. He realizes I'm racing him and he punches it. For the next 1/8 mile or so I'm trying to play catch-up. I could hear the BOV loud and clear every time he shifted. We came upon some slower traffic and had to slow down. We were side by side just messing around at this point. I would rev up so the exhaust would get loud and and he'd rev up and let off so you could hear the BOV. He eventually pulled off into a parking lot down the road and I continued on my way.

Yeah, I got beat. But it was fun and nobody got hurt.

Hey, he was at least 600 pound lighter, if you are an auto stick, he is for sure a 5 speed. You were carrying a passenger. You would be about seven tenths of a second slower in the quarter. No shame there...
