Hello all,
Tector here just wanted to say that 2 months ago I purchased a 2003 PT GT... It was a left over got it with 70 miles on and a sweet deal it has 2300 on it now and I must say its an amazing ride... some things Im considering now are 1. Intake 2. Exhaust 3. Best performance BOV (if one really exists) 4. Stage One (Not for a while Im so broke I cant afford to pay attention) Not really looking for info on this stuff ill do some searches but any info that can help would be amazing...Thanks in advance!!! Tector~ |

Welcome to the forum, ptgt2point4--great place to obtain information and exchange ideas about PT Cruisers. It's no surprise to me that you found the GT "an amazing ride" because it is a great car and lots of fun to drive. [8)] I'd recommend you start out with a drop-in K&N air filter and a free-flow (no baffles) performance exhaust. Do a search and you will find some good threads on the subject which will be of help to you. From there, the sky is the limit for MODS--be sure to hang onto your wallet.
Good luck. [?]

Welcome aboard! The greatest thing about the Cruiser is that you can really enjoy it without spending any money or you can put a pile full of money and enjoy it too!! Welcome

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello all, Tector here just wanted to say that 2 months ago I purchased a 2003 PT GT... It was a left over got it with 70 miles on and a sweet deal it has 2300 on it now and I must say its an amazing ride... some things Im considering now are 1. Intake I highly recommend Adam (03baggedturbo)'s intake system. More on it at http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4851 2. Exhaust The favorites, either singles or duals - that part's up to you, seem to be the Borla, Mopar, and BTG. I've got the BTG cat/back duals and just love 'em 3. Best performance BOV (if one really exists) A few options, but I don't know if one is really any better than the other. Adam's intake kit can be had with an option for your choice, within reason, of aftermarket BOV 4. Stage One (Not for a while Im so broke I cant afford to pay attention) Hmmmm, this could actually be cheaper than an exhaust, depending on which exhaust you choose. More bang for the buck, too. |
