"Wobbly" acceleration
When accelerating rapidly in 1st or 2nd there is a definite "wobbly" sensation in the front end. Any thoughts on this? Is this normal?

Do you mean "wobbly" as in the steering wheel moves from side to side? My first guess would be torque steer, a natural, though undesireable trait in high-powered front drivers.

Tire pressure?
Broken bead in a tire? Has it always happened or did it just start? Only during rapid acceleration? Does it go away after you let off?

if it is all the time it could be shifted belt in tire. if it is only on accel then it sounds like an axle shaft prob

I had a problem which was almost identical to what you are saying but it only happened when I first accelerated from a dead stop. Took my car to the dealer and they replaced the rack and pinion under warranty.

Sounds like a loss of traction on your front tires (one spinning faster than the other and TRAC isn't compensating quick enough). I've experienced it a few times on slick roads or left over sand from this past winter. If it's occuring each and everytime you take off then you might have a problem. Hope it's not the latter.
