Default SRT4 Swap

Hello Everyone,

New to this forum, but have been part of the srtforums for some time.

Recently purchased 1968 Volvo 122s. Was going to put a turbo Volvo motor in it; however the power range and tuning has turned me away. I owned a NSRT4 for years and decided I wanted to put one in my new Volvo. SRT4 Swap ideas - Dodge SRT Forum

They turned to the PT Cruiser GT motor due to it being lighter and easier to get my hands; not to mention it is cheaper. I joined this forum for more details.

I'm looking for some outer dims of the motor right now. Could someone provide me the outer dims (L"W"H")? For the L and W, measuring the valve cover should work. For H, would need the measurement from the bottom of the oil pan to the top of the valve cove (will have a customer intake manifold and exhaust/ turbo manifold).

Any help would be greatly appreicated.

Thank you in advance!

There is no difference in the srt4 and the PT gt motor. except the intake.

Other than a different intake manifold, the SRT4 and PT turbo engines are the same.

Gotcha. Well still will need dims if someone doesn't mind. I don't have a SRT motor yet.

Thanks!
