I have a 1992 LeBaron with a 3.0 V6, the mileage blows my PT GT away. I consistently get 25-28 miles/gallon, and it's got 160,000 miles on it. The best I've done in the PT is 23. Just my 0.02.....

How come "The People" in the First Amendment means The People; "the People" in the Fourth Amendment means The People; but "the People" in the Second Amendment (ratified in 1791) means the National Guard (created by an Act of Congress in 1903)?

You'd be surprised. I had a Chrysler Cirrus with a 150HP 4-cylinder engine in it, thinking it would be better on gas. The best I could get out of it was about 26mpg.
I had a Dodge Stratus ES with the 175HP V6 and I routinely got 27mpg on the highway at 80mph. Same car as the Chrysler Cirrus, but after having driven some rentals with the 4 I knew I had to have the 6. That was, in 50k miles, the single most trouble free vehicle I've ever owned - even better than my BMW 3 Series. Not quite as much fun though.

When I bought my cirrus, the V6 only had like 10 more HP, and it was Mitsu, so I opted for the Chrysler engine. That car just needed more power, though.

The funny thing is, though our car is based on that same chassis (with a little bit of Neon for good measure) it turns like a mack truck, and the Cirrus was one of the best turning cars I had ever driven.

By best turning do you mean handling or turning radius? My Stratus actually handled reasonably well for a front drive car, but the turning radius doesn't compare to something like my wife's '92 Camaro - which I hate, by the way. I can just about turn that thing around in our garage. Every time I drive it I'm amazed at how manuverable that thing is. The Stratus, in my opinion, was actually a better overall handling car though.

As a reply to 1ptturbo, I work Mitsubishi in Normal and I haven't received my walking papers quite yet. The rumors as to who is going to send the greenbacks, or yen, our way range from Toyota to Hundai. We have even heard the Japanese government may get involved.

I read that the guy who heads Hyundai now, and made it a success with the warranty program is going to head Mitsubishi to turn it around. I'd love to see a warranty war! How about 10 years, 250,000 miles??

You gotta understand that Mitsu is a GIANT conglamorate in Japan, the parent company is Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Cars are NOT their big suite.
