Default Multiple Error Codes

Last night my wife's 2004 Touring edition with turbo started running rough and the CEL started flashing. Of course she kept driving to where she was going, but that's another story. Anyhow, I have the following codes:

0032, 0038, 0201, 0202, 0203, 0204, 0508, and several more. 0508 doesn't show up on the posted list. 32 and 38 are heater circuit voltage and 201-204 are injector control circuits. Seems to me that the odds of all those things going wrong at once are astronomical, so it has to be a wiring/voltage problem or a bad PCM. The battery is about a year old so it should still be good. I won't be able to check anything else until I get back home from work on Saturday. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

First thing I would check are the battery terminals and cable end
shine them up to be perfectly clean and dry. Back in the day I used to use baking soda and ammonia to clean them, watch you eyes.
Re attach cables and take it for ride to see if codes come back. Keep eye on temp gauge make sure its not over heating.

Check battery voltage while car is running should be around 14 V

Hey LionPT, are those connections on the drivers side fender and you have to remove the battery to see them? But Firemedic, you need to take the battery to your closest parts store and have it load tested. If it's got a cell shorting out in it, it can cause all kinds of lights and codes to pop up. These dang computer controlled cars nowadays are very sensitive to voltage changes.

Yep...I almost posted that they were behind the battery...but didn't.

As the other members says check the battery and battery connections. Do a battery load test with the battery in the PT Cruiser.

If the battery checks out good check your fuel pressure. Make sure you are getting 57 +/- 5 PSI.

If your fuel pressure is good I would check the C103 wire harness connector in front of the intake manifold. Make sure you are getting good contacts.

If that C103 connector is good I would check the IAC. Make sure its working properly.

If the IAC is working properly I would check the ASD relay. You need to check for 12 volts at the injectors.

Positive battery cable was corroded. Cleaned that up. Pulled the battery and had it tested. Tested good. Battery is showing 14 volts with everything on the car running under maximum load. Codes have cleared with the battery disconnect and stayed clear. Had continuity on all the big cables from the battery to the main distribution fuse box, starter, ground etc. Going to drive it around and see if anything changes.
