Resonated tip?
With the research I have done I have decided against my original plan of a sidepipe exhaust. I do have a friend who is a mechanic and wants to make me a custom exhaust. Now I'm thinking of a resonator after the cat, no muffler and a resonated tip at the end with removable baffles.
Is their a tip that lets you remove or add material to change the sound like the Bassini system does? If so, where can I get one.
So far all I'm sure of is it will be a 2 1/2" exhaust made of SS.
The SRT-4 exhaust has 3 resonators and no mufflers, so am I on track with this idea of 2 resonators (one tuneable) or would just the tuneable tip be enough without the other resonator in line?
