Default 05 Turbo-speed/od/shifting problem...

05 PT Turbo Convertible-Speedometer and odometer stopped working.
Trans goes into limp mode occasionally. When that happens, I pull off the road
and restart engine 2-4 times and it starts shifting ok...still some jerkiness upon shifting, sometimes.

I just installed new output speed sensor. Seems to shift better (smoother) but
speedometer and odometer still not working.

Any suggestions?
Thank you,

I would start with getting the car scanned to see which, if any, DTCs (Diagnostic trouble code(s)) are present and go from there. You need to use a higher end scanner which is capable of reading the trans codes. Not all of the cheap scanners can do it. The built in code reading by doing the 'key dance' will not display the detailed trans codes.

Read this. It might help:

All the lights on the panel go on and needles (gas, mph, tac) go down
