Default Error P0171

Today while out enjoying the sun in the 2005 PT TE Convertible, the check engine light came on. So when I came home I did the key turn thing and came up with P0171. Looked it up and found out the fuel is too lean. Now I just bought the car and it has a little over 100k on it. I may have to take it to the dealer in the morning. What usually causes this and can I fix it without pulling a bunch of parts?

Thanks much. Guess I'll crawl under it later today and check the lower sensor before driving out to the dealer.
