Red lite in center of speedometer cluster

Default Red lite in center of speedometer cluster

"05 Turbo Convertible...
It comes on occasionally...anyone know what it is?

If it's the little red light between the gas gauge and temp gauge, then it's the Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM). This should flash during the starting sequence and then stay off.

If this is the light you are talking about and if it comes on at odd times, check for trouble codes. You may have one or more that don't throw the check engine light.

If I use my remote start then insert the key, my red light stays on.. but everything works. Viper remote start.
