Can you be a little more explicit? I do not understand what magnet it is, and I do not really know what to start with. Do i have to remove the gearbox from the car?

there is no pan.

as i mentioned before there is no reason to check or clean the magnet. you'll find a bunch of metal on it and it's all from when the trans was wearing in when new.

if you REALLY want to get to the magnet you'll need to remove the axles and transmission from the car. once you remove the trans and separate the case halves, the magnet will be the thing marked 10 in this diagram.

if you plan on going to all that trouble, i'd recommend also fixing third gear while you're in there.

I think I'm going to drive the car as it is. I'll try to get used to the noise of the third gear. When it finally broken, I'll change the transmission...

ditch the ATF and put some Amsoil MTF or Redline MTF in it, might help reduce the noise.

ATF is a poor compromise in these gear boxes, chosen to reduce parts count on production line and to improve shifting in cold climates.

The syn MTF will protect the gears and bearings vs the thin ATF, give it a try if you can source it.
