Default help with my blow off valve

Hello everyone,
I need some information on how you guys installed a blow off valve. I have purchased a block off plate to block the turbo fan on one side and I recently purchased a hks ssqv 4 blow off valve. I was wondering if you guys had to buy extra piping and where you would locate your blow off valve. If you have any info, I would appreciate it! Thanks guys!

Welcome to the forum from Texas. Please go to the new members section, introduce yourself and tell us more about your Cruiser. I'm sure someone with a turbo will be along when they see this and help with an answer.

Welcome to the forum from the great sovereign state of Arkansas!

The best answer to this question is in Google images. Just do "PT Cruiser BOV" and you will get lots of images of installed aftermarket BOV's similar to what you have. Here's a link:

And here's a forum thread on this with photos:

I am really just looking for the aftermarket pipe that was available for a time. No manufacturers carry the piece anymore. Anyone have the one laying around? If not just need links if anyone's used universal pipes and pics of the install. Done quite a bit of researching and not found anything compatible for any setups I have in mind.

Try looking on eBay for used srt4 blow off valves with pipes. You should be able to modify one to work with the pt since they are the same engine and turbo. The piping is a bit different so you may have to modify it a bit but will likely not take much effort. To find a pt specific part will be difficult but the srt4 stuff is easy to get.

It really is not hard to do...

It is only a matter of if you want to weld an adapter or use a hose adapter. Research it.

SIMPLE!!!!

Many of us have used universal parts to adapt BOV on a variety of engines! Its easy.
