Default oil flow to turbo

hey guys, has anyone felt compelled to check to ensure oil is getting to the turbo?

the reason is because I hear a loud squeal and it sounds like it is coming from the turbo, and not the belts.

I just bought the car, drove it home, heard the squeal, saw glowing turbo and replaced the turbo. have it in and all connected, the turbo spun up like it is supposed to and started squealing.

We immediately shut it down, we followed all of the instructions for installed the turbo, added 60 ml of oil into turbo spinning it to prime the turbo... so to hear a squeal, sounds like metal on metal, scares me. I would like to ensure the oil is flowing properly.

is there a way to check oil flow? I replaced the feed line and ensured the return line is clear. any insight would help.

thank you, Blaze

If you replaced a new oil line as you should have done than you WILL have oil flow at least to the Turbo...no question. If you did not and reused the oil line... ....then there is no easy way except to to disconnect you coil connector, disconnect the oil line at the Turbo and then ignition start the rotation of the engine for about 3-10 seconds only or until you make a mess. If no oil sprays after no more then that long 10 seconds you have a problem.
