Got my GT back from the dealer today and it is fixed. They said they found a code dealing with starting the car so they reprogrammed the module that reads the chip in the key. They said it was not reading it all of the time on cold starts. Starts right up now. [?] It was fixed under warranty.

Mean Green,
I've found recently that my PT GT takes 2-3 times longer to start when the engine is cold...it *always* starts, but it takes longer when cold. Is this the problem you had before? Thanks, LIP

Actually my GT, after the dealer had it, starts a little easier now but it still doesn't start up as easy as my wife's '01 does. I've found that if I give it a little gas as I start it it starts up the first time. I still think it's not right. I'm going to have the dealer look at it again in the future. You sound like you are having the same problem.
