Default radio dead

I accidently used my Jeep key in the Cruiser ignition switch which made the radio go dead. anyone know why and how to fix?

maybe reset the ecu. unplug the battery for a while.

On a PT Cruiser this only disconnects 12 volt power supply....nothing more. Its not the 90's and OBD1 Diagnostic systems anymore.



PT Cruiser use either 1st Generation OBDII or second generation CAN-bus both ECU will hold information even if the battery or 12 volt power supply is disconnected. You can not re-set any ECU operation or security setting disconnecting the power supply. This will remove the caution lights on the dash which may have lead many to believe that the ECU was re-set. Using a good shop quality Diagnostic Scanning Tool can show none resolved issue still in the monitors or as a stored DTC.
