More information please. What are the symptoms? Does it spin and not start? Does it make a noise, like a click and not spin? Does it do nothing? Have you checked fuel pressure or spark when it doesn't start? Is the CEL on?

I would do a load test on the battery. Verify your charging system is putting out 14 volts.

Does the red security light come on when it stops cranking?

If this is no red security light I would suggest checking to see if you have 12 volts going to the starter from the ignition switch when it is hot.. If no 12 volts I would check to see if you have 12 volts going to the starter relay after you pull the starter relay.

Post what you find.

Verify that the starter wires are tight, you can also take this opportunity to test that the starter is getting voltage. I would then check/replace the starter relay(s). As others suggested, I would perform a load test. Good luck, keep us posted!

"Won't crank" means the starter does not rotate the engine ie won't rotate the CRANKshaft. I have checked all the obvious causes looking for a not obvious cause. Thanks for the replies.

Without further details good luck with solving your problem. If you want some ideas you are going to have to let us know if you have 12 volts going to the starter to begin with.
