Default Changing Turbo Inlet Line as Maintenance

As some of you know, my cousin is changing my 07 PT GT timing belt, working on the transmission etc. I went ahead an bought a turbo inlet line for him to replace the existing one since it is only about $25. Do you think this will help the turbo last longer? There were no issues that I know of with the turbo but figure if the line is original and is starting to get clogged at all, it woudln't hurt to get a new line. Thoughts?

Look at the oil outlet line as well. This is where the super hot oil goes. It can clog up.

I think changing the lines is solid maintenance advice. It is one of those things that you do whenever you have access. Usually that means after the turbo has problems and you are installing the reman. If you or your mechanic can get at them easy, change them.

What is the part number for the outlet? All I can find is the inlet line.

For my 2007, I believe the part number for the oil drain tube is 4884278AC. You want to inspect it before buying another. The metal part may be cleanable.
