In my younger days it would not have been so bad. But after a stroke and a couple small heart attaches things don't go so easy these days. Then factor in the back issues.

Oh well. It's in. And you do not have to lift the motor up like I have been told by some. It is just tedious to do.

My issue is trust. People not putting hardware back in breaking shit along the way. I have payed good money only to get a incomplete job. Pisses me off. I have always worked on my own stuff. But that is coming to a close sadly.

Feels good to drive it again. Needs more work in the spring. I have done a fair amount over the years.I think I have had this around 7-8 years. This is my second Cruiser. I wish they still made them.

The timing belt is done. I got a good deal on it because it needed a valve job and a belt. It is a lot cheaper to do before it breaks lol, And it should be done closer to 75k then a 100k. mine broke at around 70k.

I have just over 100k on mine. I did look at this newer belt and it looks fine but I will likely just change it next summer. It has some age on it, but not many miles. I have a young man that seems to want to learn on how to work on things. He helped get this done. If I can get him to help I will make it worth his while to help.
